In other news, if you’re wondering where the Spycams went Saturday, we turned ‘em off to head to Ottawa overnight for a webmaster bash.  It was nice to get out of town for an evening and we got to see some friends I hadn’t seen in way too long.  Unfortunately, we weren’t really there long enough to take any pix, and I sort of regret that because the hotel room came with a sexy as fuck clear glass shower stall that’s even cooler than ours! 

And I must confess to a few “hillbilly” moments

• it was my first time in Ottawa.
• it was my first time on an 8th floor balcony.
• it was my first industry event.

None of these quite qualify as “now I can die happy” moments, but still sort of neat.  So there.  End Hillbilly Moment.  And by the way, have I ever mentioned how little I miss New Brunswick?  Picture Province, yes.  Boring as fuck where nothing really ever happens?  Also, yes.

Tomorrow is Halloween, and I hope you’re ready for all the ghoulies n beasties that come creeping out of the woodwork.  Not being into rugrats, we’re going to be the local meanies, I think, and hibernate, perhaps with a French horror movie Joe’s been wanting me to see.
